Tiffany & Co. Lapis Lyre Clock circa 1870 (#93)
Tiffany & Co. circa 1870 produced at the end of the Napoleon III era, in the style of Louis XVI. A stepped Lapis Lazuli base accented with ormolu moldings is mounted with 2 Phoenix, whose wings change to flowers rising to the top of the clock forming a lyre, with bell strike pendulum movement, a cast cylinder in the center. There is a porcelain dial with a small engine turned center. 14″H (#93)
